ANKATA COACHING is a short training programme for artists, creators, and cultural agents active the fields of contemporary dance, theatre, and music. It is centred around topics such as cultural entrepreneurship and the creation of professional networks. Its objectives align with those of ANKATA: sharing knowledge, searching for career opportunities for young people, and promoting excellence.

The idea of a coaching programme emerged from many questions that arose during the first two editions of the Africa Simply the Best contest. These recurring questions are the avenues to be explored, so that we can continue to inspire young artists in their practices, galvanise their talent and help them to position themselves at the forefront of the international performing arts scene.

Ankata Coaching takes place once a year in Burkina Faso or in another country in the region.
